I was invited to the inauguration of the new auditorium at SIFAS last Saturday. A small event with about 80 attendees and so I was surprised I was invited. Must have been because I advised them on their lease of the premises from SLA. But I was even more surprised that the PM came for the event.
I was seated in the second row. Unfortunately not air-conditioned so it was a bit warm.
A good speech by the PM and a nice music and dance performance by their students. Was over in an hour. Met some friends I know and so it was an enjoyable event. For some reason they put me next to Judith Prakash and her husband!
