ACS 140 Founder’s Day Celebration

This afternoon was the celebrations at the National Stadium. Since it was the 140th anniversary, I told myself come hell or high water, I have to be there. And I was.

Actually the Stadium is not suitable for such an event, the acoustics are poor and you cannot hear the speeches or the singing. Even the singing of the ACS Anthem was anticlimactic. It was so very different from the time I organized it when I was on the Board of Governors at the Indoor Stadium.

So I don’t remember much of the event. But it was so nice meeting people that I know. Some of whom I haven’t seen in years.
